Innóvate 4.0 needed to scale their operations for the Ara Empreses program, a regional aid initiative supporting businesses affected by the 2024 DANA floods in Valencia (Spain). The workload was intense: hundreds of cases, each requiring coordination with applicants, document collection, invoice auditing, expense justification, compliance reporting and final submission to the administration. All within a tight deadline of just a few months.

Building on two previous platforms we developed for their grant management operations, we created a new system tailored for the Ara Empreses program. The platform centralizes the management of all grant applications and cases, using AI to extract invoice and accounting data automatically, generating compliance reports and final documentation, and keeping everyone on track with automatic emails and deadline reminders.

EEC had a traditional flow-based chatbot on their website, but it felt rigid and impersonal. Visitors had to follow predefined paths and it had not ability to answer real questions.
